Kingdom Builders is Chester Christian Center’s missions initiative that gives you an opportunity to unlock tremendous blessings in your life by being generous in your giving to special projects and ministries to spread the Gospel both in Chesterland, Ohio, USA and the world. Kingdom Builders is a way for us to fulfill the Great Commission (see Matthew 28:19-20) through a community who will faithfully give above and beyond. Chester Christian Center already monthly supports over 50 missionaries and each week the church tithes on the tithe toward missions so that all can hear the name Jesus. What you giving to Kingdom Builders does is give you the chance to personally invest in specific works around the world.

In the Bible, God challenged His people to trust Him by giving back a portion of their blessings to Him. All throughout the Old Testament, God viewed tithing, giving your first 10%, as the starting point for living a life that trusts on God to provide (see Deuteronomy 14:22-24 and Proverbs 3:9-10). But, in the New Testament, Jesus and Paul took it a step further. Most of the passages about money in the New Testament doesn’t focus on a specific number, but challenges believers to give generously and regularly (see Luke 21:1-4, 2 Corinthians 9:6-14, 1 Timothy 6:6-10,17-19). In fact, when God tells us for our need to give in Malachi 3:8-12, He mentions both tithes and offerings. Why both? Because the tithe is about honoring God and trusting Him with our treasures, but offerings are about us having a generous heart. When we don’t give our tithes and offerings, not only do we rob God, but we also rob ourselves of blessings as well. God desires that we go over and above our tithe and give generously.

Please consider giving over and above your tithe to Kingdom Builders. Anyone can make a difference, no matter how little or how much they are willing to give. The funny thing about all of this is that God doesn’t need our money, but God needs me to give and learn to trust Him to provide. The question today is not, How much do I have to give?, but the question is, How much am I going to keep for myself? We are blessed to be a blessing. Will you consider giving to Kingdom Builders so that we can make a GREATER IMPACT all around Chesterland and the world?
