WHO WE ARE
Chester Christian Center was planted in September 1987 by Pastor Steve & Muff Sawczak. The gathering outgrew 3 different meeting spots, and so a church was built just north of Chesterland off Route 306 in 1993. Pastor Steve served faithfully as lead pastor until 2016 when he stepped down and took on the role of Pastoral Care. Pastor Greg Glodkowski, who had been CCC's youth pastor for over 18 years, stepped into the roll of lead pastor in January 2016 with his wife, Rosella.
OUR CORE VALUES
Infused into every aspect of our church life
We believe that God's Word is inspired and infallible. Our message is based on His instruction to us from the Bible. We accept His restrictions and glory in His freedom.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Saviour of the world. He offered up His life to redeem us and save us from our sins. His love is greater than the life we have lived in the past and stronger than the hurdles we will face tomorrow.
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in the lives of believers and provides leadership and guidance to our everyday walk. The power of the Holy Spirit is active and supernatural, meaning that He acts in a manner that is beyond the restrictions of this world. This includes but is not limited to the power to heal the sick, speak to us daily and work out details to our benefit.
